"Starter" Services

Website design & build

We can help design the design, navigation and architecture of your website, plus help or manage your hosting and domain (domain is the www.xyz.com.au bit and the hosting is the company that stores your website files and shows them publicly so your site can be seen.)

Mobile friendly
Mobile friendly is what it sounds like - ensuring your website performs well on a mobile! However the larger picture is the word, "responsive", meaning that whatever the screen size, your website still is readable and functions. A step further is actually tailoring content for screen sizes. E.g. you might want to completely remove some pages or sections for a mobile or tablet as they are too long, or edit them down.
SEO

SEO is about making your pages "good" so they automatically are high in search engine results (e.g. Google) without paying for adverts. There are a whole host of things that can be done to help improve SEO, but some of the main things are having titles and content that feature your important keywords that a customer might use, keeping your content fresh, and naming everything (e.g. brochures, images and videos) so they too contain your keywords.

Copy writing

Content needs to be specifically designed and written for the web - not just use existing text. Not only do you have to make content more engaging and shareable for the web, web users are continually scanning and looking for easy shortcuts and highlights to quickly achieve their task, whether it's to buy or e.g. find your address. 

Images & graphics

Images, and indeed good images, can really bring a page to life. It also makes a big difference to social media, as a feature image is pulled through and research shows links with images get far more click-throughs.

Support & updates

A lot of the time you may be able to make minor amends to your website and that's all that's required, until you find you hit an area where you are uncertain.
